Account Manager - McDonalds Business Unit

We have an exciting career opportunity for a consultative Account Manager within our McDonald's Business Unit (MBU). In this role you are accountable for maintaining and developing both new and existing customer relationships in an assigned territory, working shoulder to shoulder with our partners.

The Account Manager is accountable for the entire sales process for value-added oil management and hood cleaning programs, including managing both external and internal teams to ensure a smooth installation process, customer training, troubleshooting when needed, selling additional services, signing new agreements and renewals, and cultivating new referrals.

We are looking for someone that lives in either Memphis or Nashville.Travel within these two locations is expected with some overnight stays.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Establish a strategic plan and tactics that result in new account generation.
  • Understanding the customer organization, to build & maintain rapport with key individuals
  • Conduct field research to create a relevant presentation to address the customers needs
  • Schedule and complete weekly prospecting activities to include restaurants visits, track & enter daily sales activities, leads, pipeline into Salesforce (CRM)
  • Manage sales materials, presentations, agreements (new and renewals) & pricing
  • Work closely with internal teams; building strong relationships to provide a high level of customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to drive within designated territory on a daily basis, with occasional overnight travel required, expectation 25%-30%
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, including solid presentation skills to an individual or large groups
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with familiarity with online technologies (Salesforce)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing focus
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience and/or training
