We have an opportunity for a Sales Support Manager to join our Food & Beverage equipment team in Delavan, WI team. You will lead a team of motivated and engaged customer service and sales support professionals focused on order entry, customer resolutions, shipment accuracy resolution, and account management. You will champion the growth and development of your team to continue driving cultural change that embraces continuous improvement to drive customer satisfaction and improve revenue, profitability, quality, delivery, and cost.

** You will work on-site in Delavan, WI for this position. **

You will:

  • Maintain situational awareness of the activity in the Customer Service Department and prioritize and direct the activities of the staff to meet departmental goals most efficiently.
  • Manage Past Due report and collaborate with sales and operations to ensure timely shipment of expedited shipments, and feedback to customers and Pentair Sales Force.
  • Manage Customer Service budget and participate in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings.
  • Meet with employees on a regular basis to review overall performance and set expectations for improvement and personal growth when applicable.
  • Participate in the strategic deployment of Pentair products and participate in Marketing efforts and tradeshows.
  • Maintain SAP data related to price monitoring, part number set-up process, errors & omissions (E&O) accuracy, monitor sales metrics, and set benchmarks for aftermarket performance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.
  • Have 5+ years' experience in customer service, sales, or marketing, including 2+ years of professional customer service leadership experience.
  • Proven skills with developing, compiling, and/or monitoring performance metrics; experience setting and overseeing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics.
  • Demonstrated success working for a manufacturer of finished goods, including knowledge of product manufacturing and shipping procedures.
  • Advanced ability to use relevant software programs (e.g., MS Office); experience using CRM tools (i.e., SalesForce) is a plus.
  • Proven expertise with utilizing ERP or MRP systems; experience working with SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong active listening skills, and ability to influence at all levels of the organization cross-functionally.

Travel:

  • Up to 25% with outside sales to get voice of customer and tracking of customer satisfaction, with customer first focus.
