Job Description

SCOPE OF ROLE

The Commercial Operations Specialist will be responsible for comprehensive day-to-day support and collaboration required to deliver digital products and services to our customers. This role will be a primary contact for the Perceptiv Sales and Reliability Services teams to successfully quote, order, and fulfill on Perceptiv products and services. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in the development and continuous improvement of the quotation and order processing value streams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop formal quotes for digital products and services opportunities, including ERP entry and customer-facing documentation creation, in collaboration with internal RegalRexnord and Perceptiv teams.
  • Implement and execute order entry procedure, ensuring thorough and accurate project documentation in ERP systems and services management consoles.
  • Participate in the development of customer service procedures, policies and standards for continued improvement while working with management on customer care initiatives.
  • Serve as customer contact during installation planning period, coordinating onsite schedules and compiling information needed from customer.
  • Own ongoing maintenance of accurate project backlog and recurring contracts to drive fulfillment excellence and customer retention in collaboration with Perceptiv teams.
  • Assist with intercompany order fulfilment, financial recognition, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement processes to accurately maintain customer data in online platform.
  • Review Reliability Reports for potential core product opportunities.
  • Utilize Product Information Management system to provide equipment recommendations to platform users.
  • Compile and publish monthly metrics to department stakeholders to measure key performance indicators, and business results.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree, and 3+ years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, or estimating, preferably in a manufacturing or technical industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems) preferred.
  • Understanding of CRM system, preferably Salesforce, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both in writing and verbally.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Takes proactive approach to communication and problem solving.
  • Collaborative and flexible team player able to influence cross functional groups to reach common goals.
