Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Manager for a contract lasting through December 2024 working with an insurance company in Milwaukee, WI.

Summary:

As we accelerate our efforts to modernize, we are seeking a talented technical business analyst to assist in our efforts to redefine our contract and licensing processes, through workflow automation and other enabling technologies. This role will be working with a talented group of product managers, business stakeholders, engineering partners and design to redefine the way in which our technology streamlines our CLR processes through automation of workflow and integration of services with 3rd party vendors such as Client.

In partnership with the Sr. product manager, you can expect to define a product vision and roadmap that drives efficiency and transparency in multiple complex Contract Licensing and Registration (CLR) processes through implementation of workflow automation. Empower our home office Contract License and Registration team to increase efficiency and effectiveness of CLR processes enabling the long-term increase of CLR throughput. Work with a talented team of partnering product managers, business analysts, engineers, designers, CLR experts to define product vision, strategy and deliver experiences that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Product Vision: Shared accountability for the vision & execution of Contract Licensing and Registration process and product modernization tied to business outcomes.
  • Cultivate an understanding of the Contract Licensing and Registration domain processes and products.
  • Develop Roadmap: Shared accountability in cross functional strategic roadmaps in addition to the products in their domain.
  • Define and track KPIs for measure of success.
  • Gather Requirements: Gather complex product requirements with a general understanding/knowledge of products in remit.
  • Review and validate requirements gathered from business partners.
  • Define Product: Responsible to redefine complex business processes, the products supporting new process and product features from start to finish.
  • Stakeholdering: Proactive communication and marketing of domain products with stakeholders to ensure product strategy and vision is clear and accepted by the organization.
  • Feature Prioritization: Develop and maintain prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation according to business value or ROI.
  • Data & Customer Research: Inform product decisions with both qualitative and quantitative data on behavior and experimentation.
  • Facilitate Ceremonies: Facilitate the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
  • Resolution: Identify and resolve issues that may impair the ability to meet strategic, financial, and/or technical goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience in a Product Management Role, with agile team experience.
  • Knowledge Preferred: knowledge of the financial services industry, familiar with workflow automation tools (highly desired), experience with technical business analyst role, product owner or Scrum Master role, experience in leadership or mentorship of a team, multiple years working in complex, cross functional companies managing multiple products and collaborating with additional PMs.
  • Must have demonstrated successful cross functional work in previous experience along with excellent communication, time management, and project management experience, strong business acumen and high self-awareness/EQ.
  • Ability to influence decision making, leadership partnerships, and translate product requirements into technical requirements, high ability to work in ambiguity and solution effectively.
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve the complex problems; and knowledge of modern workflow automation tools to think beyond existing solutions.
