We areSystems, LLCa leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment.Wecontinue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.

Pay $18 - $22 / hour, depending on experience

1st Shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday (10 hr days)

Job Summary:

As a Machine Shop Operator, you will set up equipment in accordance with print specifications and work instructions; make adjustments to maintain set-up; perform equipment or machinery set-up including stamping dies, forming dies, machining dies, etc, and perform daily and/or weekly operator equipment maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32"

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience operating iron worker, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saw, milling machines, plasma, and other related equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently operate iron worker, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saw, milling machines, plasma and other equipment

  • Utilize inspection gauges such as dial calipers, protractors, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks on parts

  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine appropriate operations to be performed

  • Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification

  • Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables to load/unload material

  • Route parts and components to the proper department or storage location

  • Label materials produced and scan shop orders within an ERP system

  • Efficiently prioritize workload and use of available resources with time constraints

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • This is a role within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group.
