Position Summary

Exceptional career opportunity in Technical Sales for experienced sales professional to represent an industry leader. In this role you'll work with leading OEMS around the world to integrate our surface treating solutions into their printing, coating, laminating & film extrusion lines. Use your sales and technical acumen to build relationships, develop business, and provide technical guidance to our OEM customers. Your efforts will be supported by a dedicated sales support team, engineering staff and our industry leading CRM implementation of Sales Force. This position is based in Germantown, WI in our newly constructed Corporate Headquarters. Core Functions and Responsibilities Sales & Business Development:
  • Identifies and develops new global opportunities in the OEM web handling market.
  • Develops new relationships with key OEM targets through personal visits & by networking at industry events & associations.
  • Drives significant growth with strategic OEM partnerships through design, service, and creative contracting.
  • Partners with OEM customers to identify new product ideas based on market needs and new customer portfolios.
  • Benchmarks competitive products and offerings tailored for the OEM market.
Application Analysis:
  • Responsible for knowing each OEM product line and how the treater integrates with each system.
  • Identifies application variables that would impact design for each opportunity.
  • Understands the control requirements of the OEM to integrate treater power supply and controls.
  • Provides feedback to engineering on which treater configuration best meets the OEM's needs.
Sales Process:
  • Responsible for directing each opportunity through the sales process including coordination of activities with agents.
  • Follow up with customer in a timely and professional manner to assist with questions or concerns.
  • Maintains status of each project in Salesforce,
Qualifications
Education and Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each core function satisfactorily. The duties above are typically fulfilled through a Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering or a related field with experience in sales and/or marketing functions of packaging equipment and/or industry.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, or Qualifications
  • Ability & willingness to travel up to 50% and meet demands of various time zones. Travel amounts are established annually and are based on territory needs and position responsibilities.
  • Exhibits high standards of performance, pursues aggressive goals, and works diligently to achieve them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and set priorities for diverse range of projects including managing multiple projects at any one time.
  • Capacity to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and independently from start to finish on select projects.
  • Extremely detail oriented with superior organizational skills.
