In the Procurement Services Intern position, you'll be responsible for analyzing, creating and delivering food category spend optimizations to new and existing DSSI Procurement Services customers. You will work in partnership with the Procurement Consultant by collaborating with customers, GPOs, and food suppliers to optimize order guides on DSSI.

The DSSI platform connects care providers directly to their unique supply chain networks and delivers data-driven and AI-powered procurement tools to help our customers optimize profitability and efficiency at every turn.

This internship is year-round, accommodating a part-time schedule during the school year and full-time during breaks and summer.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Partner with the Category Analysts to conduct initial client assessments to determine needs of each client specific to their desired programs.

  • Analyze, develop, and build programs for Spend Management Consultant to recommend to clients to gain approval to implement.

  • Build, implement, and maintain order guides across the categories of spend that drives efficiencies and savings for clients.

  • Partner with DSSI Integrations Team on site set up, supplier integrations and order guides for clients' DSSI platform.

Experience:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, graduating in May 2026 or later

  • Ability to work 15-20 hours during the school year; full-time during the summer and breaks
