Description

Position Summary:

Unique opportunity for a versatile maintenance mechanic or technician to join a company with a strong foundation built on family values. We are expanding and moving into a brand-new facility to further enhance our manufacturing capabilities where you can use your technical & trouble shooting skills to help Enercon stay a world-class manufacturer of corona, plasma, flame, and ozone surface treating systems and induction cap sealers that set industry standards.

The Maintenance position is responsible for performing general mechanical maintenance work to maintain structures, equipment, and building appliances. This role will perform diagnoses, troubleshooting, and basic repair of various items in a light assembly manufacturing environment. This is a 1st shift position generally working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. We invite you to join us as we continue to grow as we celebrate our 50th year in business.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of various equipment and building appliances including, but not limited to, A/C, furnace, CNC, and sandblast machines.
  • Perform inspection and preventive maintenance of various equipment, as well as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units.
  • Perform maintenance and upkeep on the buildings, facilities, and the grounds.
  • Completes short-distance truck runs to company locations or other local companies for parts or supplies as needed.
  • Perform basic overhauls and/or rebuilds of machines, components, or attachments including dismantling, light machining, or replacement of parts.
  • Perform various activities relative to the installation or relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning operations.
  • Assist to determine the nature and scope of forthcoming projects and the requirements for completion.
  • Maintains records of maintenances performed and upkeeps logs and files as needed per scope of the operation in the business.
  • Performs other tasks as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to the duties listed on this job description.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience directly diagnosing and repairing various equipment and appliances, ideally in a manufacturing setting or related environment.
  • Willingness and ability to safely drive a box truck, vehicles with a trailer, and operate forklifts as required.
  • Ability to work in multiple locations in a close vicinity in the Menomonee Falls / Germantown area.
  • Ability to think critically in your approach to tasks and to perform work on a mostly independent basis.
  • Ability to perform work while standing, walking, or stooping for long periods of time, and to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Knowledge and ability to use various hand and power tools in order to complete tasks.
  • Safely performs tasks and follows safe practices procedures.
