Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our CP-MCKINLEY HLTH CENTER facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.000000

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Float hours must be available between the hours of 0700-1815 depending on the day and need. Phlebotomist must be flexible with start time and willing to travel to multiple locations if needed (Covers Milwaukee and Waukesha). Saturday rotation 0800-1200 every 7th weekend


Job Summary:
Responsible for phlebotomy, specimen processing, customer service and provides general office support in a clinic setting. Other Duties as assigned.


EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience with customer service-related experience in lieu of preferred education.
  • Phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory/phlebotomy setting, inpatient and/or outpatient draws.
EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
TRAINING:

  • Formal training in phlebotomy, Medical Assistant training or equivalent or Health Unit Coordinator diploma.
SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology;
LICENSURE:

  • ASCP certification preferred.
