SUMMARY:

Maintain, repair and lubricate equipment and machinery utilizing tools, methods, and resources available. Fabricate items and give maintenance support to produce quality products efficiently while communicating effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

All the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices.

It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to act.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Required: Forklift Certification

Washington State Driver's License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for paperwork, driving and reading specifications, distance vision to drive the forklift, color vision to check product color and identify packaging color differences, peripheral vision for driving the forklift and to watch for pedestrians, depth perception for driving the forklift and stacking pallets, and the ability to adjust focus for driving the forklift and identifying the product.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in proximity to moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock.
  • The employee frequently works in high, precarious places
  • The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat.
  • The employee occasionally works in outside extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.)
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
