Responsible for driving growth through $85M book of existing accounts across the USA and Canada through an Inside Sales team. Responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets, drive business growth, and foster strong customer relationships. The strategic vision, leadership, and sales expertise will be critical in shaping the organization's success. The team is expanding and this Director will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding and advancing the careers of the Inside Sales Specialists. This position directly reports to the VP of Sales with regular interface with the Business Unit leaders as we seek to build our talent pool for outside sales, strategic sales and BU leadership roles.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard and manage Inside Sales associates to deliver on current objectives while building the bench of outside sales engineers/account managers.
  • Proactively drive Inside Sales team to achieve revenue objective through existing customer base.
  • Timely response to Business Team or Sales Leadership requests for critical information.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams on demand generation, upsell, cross-sell initiatives, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Execute and create calling campaigns to nurture customer prospects into new account relationships and expanded revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with territory and distribution sales leaders to ensure leads are properly assigned and conversion from opportunity to revenue is optimized.
  • Highly-engaged use of CRM to manage and report on growth opportunities & projects.Review efficacy of customer interactions in CRM tool.
  • Support and successful execution of any internal Regal Rexnord product simplification or restructuring initiatives.
  • Prompt execution and implementation of all price actions as defined by business teams.
  • Ensure prompt response to customer issues including sample testing on customer applications.
  • Prepare status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, customer needs and adherence to goals.
  • Oversee delivery of sales quotes to customers and ensure adherence to pricing strategy defined by business.
  • Attend product training while committing to self-study to enhance product and industry knowledge.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • BS in Technical Field & MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years industry experience: Sales in Industrial segment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process orientation
  • Experience with CRM toward accurate forecasting
  • Proven analytical skills toward problem solving
  • High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results
  • Experience with concepts of 80/20, Hoshin Kanri, and/or Lean Management preferred.
