Job Description

Summary:

As Senior Network Engineer, you are part of a team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Regal Rexnord's network infrastructure. Operationally, you will ensure the network is reliable, scalable, secure, and capable of meeting our current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Implementation: Implement network solutions, including hardware, software, and configuration changes. Collaborate with network engineers and technicians to deploy and maintain network components.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitor network capacity requirements and ensure the network can handle increased traffic and new technologies.
  • Security: Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and access controls. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network resources for maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • Network Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and inventory lists.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in network design, implementation, and management, with a minimum of 7-10 years in a similar role.
  • Must have experience with Zero Trust Network access and Zscaler (ZIA and/or ZPA).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.

Role may require up to 25% travel for certain projects.
