Job Description

PositionHighlights:

  • Position:Unit Concierge
  • Location:Evanston Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time:32 hours per week
  • Hours:Days/PM(7am-3:30pm/3pm-11:30pm)

What you will need:

  • Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification:N/A
  • Experience:Minimum 2 years of work experience requiredor1 year of college and 1 year of work experience required
  • Skills:Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required

What you will do:

  • Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit
  • Enter patient charges in computer
  • Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges
  • Order supplies
  • Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments
  • Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate
  • Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution
