What You Will Do:

This maintenance technician is responsible for providing manufacturing operations with the required support relative to machine repair, preventative maintenance, installation, and continuous improvement.

* Mechanical repair, electrical repair, and installation of all production machinery. SC: Mechanical/electrical ability/experience is adequate for the requirements of the position.

* Facilities repair and improvements such as electrical, painting, plumbing.

* Maintain the chemical storage area. Move oils, solvents glycols from the plant floor into storage and maintain chemical log sheet.

* Perform periodic preventative maintenance on all production equipment.

* Comply with all the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies, and procedures of API Heat Transfer.

* Comply with all API Heat Transfer policies related to acceptable workplace behavior.

What You Bring:

  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Visual acuity as needed to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation as required.
  • Thorough understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, production equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
