Join us at the forefront of innovation as a Senior Development Scientist, spearheading the discovery, development, and launch of groundbreaking surface care and disinfectant formulations. Lead and technically support EPA, applicable countries and global regions registrations for disinfectants, medical devices, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with other members of the Product and Project Management teams, Regulatory experts and disinfectant registrants globally to ensure successful commercialization of projects and understand future formulation and regulatory requirements for surface care, cleaning, and disinfection. As a visionary, you will develop the protocols for qualifying new suppliers, technologies and direct trials at suppliers and in-house converting.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Develop new and improved surface care and disinfectant wet wipes that align and meet business objectives, globally. Collaborate with existing disinfectant registrants, chemical and formulation suppliers, and upstream innovators.
* Assure that all products comply with all regulatory, safety and assure that all formulations do not knowingly infringe on valid intellectual property.
* Manage disinfectant and surface care projects for retail, CMS, RT and UK.
* Planning and directing project activities, trials, and discussions with raw material suppliers.
* Internal Project updates & discussions with Regulatory, QA, Operations, Category Product Management as well as managing project timelines and expectations.
* Perform converting process validations.
* Create & edit raw material specifications.
* Investigate and implement new testing methods to substantiate product performance and/or efficiency claims of a new or existing products or formulations. This may involve liaising with external laboratories and consultants.
* Ensure laboratory safety policies & guidelines are followed for safe laboratory work.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline required.
* 8 years' experience in product development, regulatory, or quality assurance is required. Formulation experience is highly preferred.
* Knowledge in U.S. Regulations, analytical test methods and scientific principles required. Understanding of EPA regulations is highly preferred.
* Proven written and verbal skills.
* Experience in wet wipes development is a strong plus.
* Must have the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
* Able to design and execute an experiment and interpret results.
* Must be willing to travel as needed to Rockline manufacturing sites as well as to customers and external vendors.
