Work Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hours are typically Monday - Friday, day shift. There may be additional hours on nights and weekends for various events. This is a hybrid position which allows you to work from where you are. Primary workspace is at the Public Service Commission (PSC) building, 610 N. Whitney Way, Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Career Pathways Coordinator to:

  • Support educational programming in partnership with community organizations that aid in growing and diversifying UW Health's emerging and future workforce.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships and partnerships with community organizations.
  • Critically analyze the annual Dane County Community Health Needs Assessment Report and suggest solutions, including programming, education and training for workforce and economic development.
  • Directly supervise and provide ongoing mentorship for summer high school interns, college summer interns, Youth Apprentices, and other secondary and postsecondary students in work-based learning programs facilitated by Career Pathways
  • Create programming and write curriculum that engages widely varied audiences from youth to adults in exploring specific careers in health care.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in education, science, health care, non-profit management, project management or closely related field.

Preferred - Master's degree in education, sciences, health care or closely related field.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Three years instructional experience, clinical health care experience, program or curriculum development, project management, scientific laboratory or other closely related experience

Preferred - Five or more years, instructional experience, clinical health care experience, program or curriculum development, project management, scientific laboratory or other closely related experience. Budgeting, as well as grant management and evaluation experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred - Project management certification or education certification or allied health certification or license and three years of clinical work experience.
