The MRO Planner is directly responsible for establishing the forecasted material required to support our maintenance schedule. The candidate selected will work closely with the maintenance and operations team to ensure that all material and paperwork are ready and kitted to increase the effectiveness of the maintenance work group.

  • Coordinate with production to understand the upcoming production schedule.
  • Understand the frequency of PM's to ensure zero overdue PM's
  • Generate a forecast of needed material with the appropriate paperwork based upon the production schedule in relation to the PM schedule.
  • Monitor material delivery dates to understand any gaps in delivery and communicate appropriately.
  • Maintain running list of outbound equipment sent out for repair/rebuild and escalate help-needed for timely resolution.
  • Participate in FEL Process as needed to provide input regarding critical spares and parts needed for stocking.
  • Understand overall inventory levels within stores and monitor to mitigate unnecessary shortages of parts/material.
  • Proactively address the root cause of poor schedule compliance and build action plans for these areas.
  • Techo work orders as completed with all appropriate completed paperwork.
  • Act as a liaison between production and maintenance to improve turnaround time on planned jobs.
  • Dynamically support the MOC Process when making any type of subtle change with equipment/parts/material
  • Develop a detailed job plan/task with all the work sequences involved to adequately complete the repairs including man-hours required.
  • Establish the preparatory work required prior to scheduled equipment down time.
  • Provide a parts list and kit for every work order to ensure that all required parts are in stock and/or kitted before job scheduling.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, administrative, technical, cost reduction, 5S and process improvement programs.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • High school diploma in conjunction with 3-5 years relevant leadership experience.
  • Must have experience within Microsoft tools. (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Must have experience within SAP and understand the mechanics of Material Requirements Planning
  • Working knowledge of Predictive and Preventative Maintenance programs
  • Strong safety consciousness, EHS awareness, and familiarity with EHS requirements
  • Strong execution skills on daily schedule to support production team
  • Highly motivated and energetic, willing to demonstrate significant ownership in the overall maintenance, production area
