Accounting Analyst, III - AMC Controllership

The Accounting Analyst III is a critical member of the AMC Controllership team. This high visibility role will work with business segments and key stakeholders to manage accounting, compliance, SOX and Audits in support of Regal Rexnord's continued growth. Successful candidates will be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with all levels of the organization to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with US GAAP, statutory regulations and Regal Rexnord accounting policies.
  • Assist in coordination of requested information with the external and internal auditors.
  • Assists with month-end quarter-end and year-end close responsibilities related to the preparation and review of certain balance sheet and income statement accounts at the AMC segment level
  • Preparation of various month-end close journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Assist in managing the implementation of new accounting and compliance practices.
  • Support in detailed balance sheet reviews within the AMC segment.
  • Collaborate with segment and finance teams to optimize and streamline processes across AMC.
  • Leverage analytical skills and system knowledge to organize and harness large amounts of data.
  • Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization to ensure expectations, timelines, and finance deliverables are consistently understood and completed.
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects and analysis to support the AMC Segment.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Model and demonstrate the use of 80/20, continuous improvement to deliver measurable improvements in processes that align with the AMC segment's organizational strategy.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 3+ years finance experience required; global manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Oracle/SAP ERP system, Hyperion, BI, OneStream, or other consolidation and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • The ability to perform in a dynamic cross-functional team environment is critical.
  • Strong organization skills to manage and prioritize a broad range of responsibilities.
  • Travel: Regal Rexnord is a Global Business. Some travel to other Regal Rexnord locations is expected. Estimate 5 - 10%.
