In the role of Program Director I you will be working in Pediatrics. Purpose Oversee the activities of a complex department-wide program for Pediatric Medical Education, including responsibility for the overall management and functioning of the program, under the direction of the Vice Chair of Pediatric Education. Provide oversight, direction, and guidance to the Program Managers and Program Coordinators, to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals. Oversee financial, personnel, and accreditation needs including UME, GME, CME and Simulation programming. Primary Functions Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of technical, business, consultation, project management, and cultural awareness. Customer focus, building trust, communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills.

Preferred Schedule:
Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate clinical needs.
Position Requirements:
Specifications Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree Minimum Required Experience: 10 years experience Preferred Education: Master's Degree or higher in Administration, Education or related fields Preferred Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the development, organization, administration and delivery of educational programs in an academic or hospital setting. Professional experience in Graduate Medical Education in an academic or other institution, progressively responsible for accreditation, administration, and process improvement in medical education.
