SUMMARY:

Perlick is seeking a highly motivated Product Marketing Intern to work directly with our product management, brand, marketing communications, sales, engineering, operations, and other teams to ensure programs and product solutions meet the needs of our internal and external customers. This role will work directly with cross functional teams to understand and develop commercialization resources to ensure our products are backed by best-in-class product marketing assets.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Analyze and coordinate product related activities as assigned to achieve company and customer goals.
  2. Attend marketing meetings for product management and drive cross functional teams as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  3. Coordinate as requested in the development of new innovative products and product improvements as assigned, including market research to understand user needs and competitive product offerings and assist in deployment of omni-channel product strategy.
  4. Assist Product Management and Brand teams in developing commercialization materials for new products, product improvements, and coordinating deliverables for trade shows and events.
  5. Research and assist in the launch of new sales solutions as requested to meet company growth goals and further building brand equity and competitive edge.
  6. Participate in development and maintenance of accurate product landscapes for each product category, including refrigeration, beverage dispensing, bar equipment, as well as future NPD, to assist Product Managers.
  7. Participate in VOC and field research to understand end users' needs and expectations, current solutions & applications as they relate to the food service equipment & residential appliance landscape.
  8. Other duties, projects, and learning objectives as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year degree program in Marketing, business or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge of hospitality and food service industry preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills a must.
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, collaborative team working skill, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, and Excel specifically).
  • Ability to quickly react to different situations and perform efficiently in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
