Job Description

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Dance to begin Fall 2024. The successful candidate will teach one or two dance courses per semester, part of the Theatre Arts Department Musical Theatre Concentration and Dance Minor curricula. Interested candidates will additionally be considered to serve as choreographer for theatre productions for additional compensation.


Essential Job Functions
  • Teach introductory and intermediate dance courses invarious dancetechniques per the specialty areas of the instructor. Possible styles include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theatre Styles, Modern, and Hip-Hop.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BA or BFA in Musical Theatre,Dance,or Choreography

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MFA or terminal degree inDance
  • Expertise teaching multiple styles
  • Professional performance and/or choreography experience

Salary and Benefits

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
