Job SummaryPosition will perform Assurance and Design engagements for a variety of enterprise projects as needed under the supervision of the CAD lead. This entails analyzing solution architectures and applying security controls per standards and performing interviews to validate the deployment of specified controls. Will educate project personnel on security standards, requirements and best practices and provide highest quality security guidance on achieving requirements leveraging enterprise security tools and standard patterns.NOTE: This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO or WAUKEGAN IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.
Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of combined IT and Information Security work experience.
*Understand relevant security controls for given subject areas and gain subject matter expertise required to enforce Information Security standards, MSBs and patterns.
*Conduct Cybersecurity Assurance and Design engagements in accordance with established processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the technical and business impacts of controls and assess optimal control implementations.
* Understanding of applications, platforms, operating systems and network infrastructure.
* Experience navigating a matrixed environment and building cross-functional relationships.
* Written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively present technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Organized, process-oriented and able to manage multiple concurrent work streams.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
* Effectively present technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
*Consulting experience preferred.
*Ability to work multiple engagements going on simultaneously.
*Strong Project Management skills.
