Who is GA Precision?

GA Precision is a leading supplier of highly complex, precision machined components with tight tolerances as low as two microns, meaning GA Precision is in the top quartile of tightest tolerance machining companies. It also has industry-leading CNC turning, milling, deep hole gun drilling, grinding and honing capabilities.

What does the job involve?

The Tool Crib Attendant orders, receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, tool kits and equipment in support of productions activities.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Issue tools, tooling, tool kits, materials and equipment to workers. Maintain records of tools and equipment issues and t returned and input information into the computerized system.
  • Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment. Adjust inventory levels when discrepancies occur.
  • Prepare periodic inventory and maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment. Order, receive, unpack, and store the incoming tools, tooling and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Make new Tool Kits and Pre-Set Tooling Carts to ensure availability when needed.
  • Inspect tooling for wear, send to vendors or tool room for regrinding.
  • Organize storage of tools, tooling, ect., maximize storage space.
  • Assist in setting up to tool crib procedures.
  • Mark and identify tools and equipment. Clean, oil and adjust tools and tooling.
  • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all safety and Quality procedures.

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.

What qualifications should I have?

High School diploma or GED.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

You will be eligible for the full complement of Senior Flexonics GA Precision benefits, including 401(k) match up to 3.5% and profit sharing contributions (subject to the provisions of the benefit plan documents). Benefits are effective the first of the month after your date of hire. You will earn 10 vacation days (80 hours) annually. Your vacation will be prorated and accrue 1.54 hours per week.

This offer is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, as well as proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
