Our Phillipsburg, KS operation where this position will be based has been doing business as Mineral Right and produces a media called zeolite that is used in water purification.

This is a seasonal temporary position starting in March and ending in the fall.

Primary Function

This laborer's primary duties are loading semi-trailers, filling product into bags, and transporting material around the facility grounds. The candidate will be trained and work all phases of the zeolite production process. The candidate will have the skill set to work both accurately and be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
Role Specific Responsibilities

1. Transporting material via a forklift or transfer truck

2. Inventory control

3. Shop clean up

4.Quality control

5. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

6.Basic maintenance of machines

7.Rotating Schedules during the zeolite season

8. Rotating On Call schedule consisting of over night and weekends and needed.

Qualifications
  • Good Attitude and Team Player
  • Fork Lift Certification a plus
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience
Minimum of 6 months related work experience
Physical Requirements
  • Variable hot and cold working environment.
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20pounds overhead and maneuver various parts weighting up to 50 lbs.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell.
