Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is now looking for a Outlet Manager with fantastic benefits! This role will provide oversight for the Outlets team to include Grand Cafe, Grand Central, In Room Dining, Lobby Lounge & Pool Bar. They will coordinate the activities of the staff to deliver quality product and service to restaurant customers!

The Responsibilities:

  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet.
  • Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings.
  • Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
  • Interact positively with customers promoting hotel facilities and services.
  • Resolve problems to satisfaction of involved parties.
  • Organize special events in the restaurant.
  • Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings.
  • Control reservations in a manner which fully utilizes space but does not affect ability to provide quality service.
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are met.
  • Maintain profitability of outlet to support overall hotel operation.
  • Control payroll and equipment costs.
  • Utilize computer to accurately charge customers, create forecast and revenue reports, and write correspondence.
  • Support the entire food / beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary, handling special projects, running promotions, handling public relations and marketing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Qualifications:

  • Previous F/B management experience required; preferably in a destination restaurant or steakhouse environment.
  • Fine dining experience required.
  • Thorough wine knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization in a professional manner.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously to perform essential job functions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
  • Bachelor's degree desired.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
