The position will be based in either Woodlands, Texas, or Frankfort, Germany, with some travel between the two locations.

The Global Business Process Owner/ Pricing Lead will streamline business processes, eliminate duplication and design Power Bi dashboards to support business decision making. As Pricing Lead will manage an end-to-end pricing process that drives pricing excellence and the delivery of our Strategic Objectives, as well as roll out tools/ systems that support pricing excellence.

Provides strong support to the Performance Director and the Elastomers Leadership Team

In summary, as the Global Business Process Owner/ Pricing Lead, you will:

  • Investigating, analyzing and assessing the efficiency & effectiveness of current processes and procedures - systems/ information input/ tools/ analysis/ outputs

  • List process & propose prioritization based on the speed of delivery vs business impact.

  • Present project plan to Leadership team to get sign-off.

  • Collaborate with team members across the division to determine opportunities for standardization.

  • Bring together stakeholders to share information, and best practices & work through common obstacles. Eliminate duplication across functions and ensure data integrity/ fit for purpose.

  • Define appropriate KPIs and set up a monitoring system for performance & continuous improvement.

  • Identify & apply appropriate tools/ reports to support the process. Ensure appropriate security levels for data access.

  • Review redesigned process/ tools with stakeholders to ensure the new process meets business needs.

  • Leverage PowerBi to collect & visualize data to demonstrate results of analysis & improved decision-making.

As Pricing Lead

  • Work closely with the commercial, marketing, supply chain, finance, purchasing, and other key business partners to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers.

  • Achieve cross-functional coordination between all key business partners needed to develop and implement the pricing strategy

  • Drive value capture by implementing price strategy and manage the deal execution

  • Develop internal and external communications related to pricing

  • Lead development of long-term pricing strategy for complex products/services

  • Set up and deploy pricing tools

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent via experience

Experience

  • 7+ years of business experience, ideally across multiple functions

  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Power Bi is a major plus

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, detail orientation, and influencing skills required

  • Capability of translating processes across multiple functions into a simplified end-to-end process

  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization is required to build and improve relationships. Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Excellent computer skills are required. Especially proficiency in SAP, PowerPoint, management information systems, Excel

  • Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity are critical for job success

  • Strong in developing other team members and engaged in self-development
