What you will be doing:
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, identifying, creating, and maintaining trusted partnerships with key decision-makers.
Support business strategy and marketing to attract new commercial customers.
Prepare annual sales goals and measure success along the way.
Set goals for daily, weekly, and monthly touchpoints for commercial prospects.
Convert commercial prospects to new contracts.
Track all touch points and sales metrics in CRM.
Engage in networking groups, potentially after working hours.
Understand decision-making processes by networking with other business developers who sell to the same customers.
Estimate landscape maintenance opportunities in our software.
Prepare presentations and conduct proper handoff with Accounts Manager after sale.
Generate new sales ideas and strategies for attracting leads.
Qualify leads and keep them engaged through differentiated communications and touchpoints.
Close at least $1.5 million in new landscape maintenance contacts per year.
Experience you will need:
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
5+ years of successful related sales experience with progressively higher performance.
Proficient with technology (iPads, laptops, etc.), including the use of software programs, such as Aspire.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Strong servant-leadership qualities.
Excellent communication skills.
A team-selling mentality.
An entrepreneurial spirit.
