Overview

First Citizens Equipment Finance is a full-service, vendor-centric lending/leasing business unit. FCB EF provides a wide array of lending and leasing products/solutions to customers ranging in size from small/medium businesses to enterprise entities through its affiliation/alignment with OEM equipment vendors, their distributors, resellers, and dealers.

The Program Business Development Manager role will establish vendor financing relationships with Agriculture equipment vendors (manufacturers and dealers) that possess strong long-term growth potential and that will generate meaningful end-user equipment financing transaction volume at appropriate risk adjusted returns. The incumbent's success will be directly tied to his/her ability to be viewed as a consultative business partner, as well as their ability to communicate Equipment Finance's value proposition to the marketplace.


Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy - Identify, develop, structure, close and maintain vendor centric equipment finance opportunities through both interaction at the appropriate vendor management level, as well as ownership of the internal First Citizens sales cycle in its entirety, to meet or exceed assigned targets.
  • Sales - Articulate the Equipment Finance value proposition across existing relationships to grow First Citizens brand awareness and establish / grow market share.
  • Business Proficiency - Ensure that program development includes appropriate interaction/consultation with all internal line functionality to ensure that all First Citizens objectives and policies are met.
  • Collaboration - Interface/coordinate with other business units within First Citizens, as appropriate, to help expand/broaden relationships and cross-sell relevant products.
  • Managerial Responsibilities - Establish and develop a high-performing sales team for long-term success within this market.

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is $125,000 to $160,000 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in Business Development/Sales, Financial Services Management, Healthcare Marketplace required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance, Marketing, or related business discipline
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Analytical Skills and Management Skills
