Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Location: nVent, 16250 W. Woods Edge Road, New Berlin, WI 53151

We are adding a full-time Inventory Control Coordinator to the team!


Key Responsibilities:

* Take an active role in managing multiple inventory aspects of the distribution center operations including: Inventory Control, Overflow Management, and Inventory Metric Tracking
* Contribute to the business by adhering to best practices and identifying and executing on continuous improvement opportunities
* Participates in cross-functional business team focusing on continuous improvement
* Manage cycle count plan creation, investigation and approval
* Picking location assignments for new or moved items
* Responsible for SKU data integrity
* Responsible for Hold location resolution
* Maintain accuracy of asset locker
* Maintain accuracy of Fastenal vending machine
* Label creation for badges
* Daily inventory activity that assists the Picking team (MTO, pallet pick, CPRs)
* Responsible for updating the Gemba board metrics daily
* Organization of location labeling
* Knowledge of cycle counting process


Required Skills:

* Must have experience working with teams to achieve goals
* Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and electronically
* Must be able to walk to a variety of primary work locations, stand/bend/stoop for extended periods of time
* Must have knowledge of distribution processes, inventory control, lean manufacturing/continuous Improvement concepts & ERP/WMS systems
* Proven ability to use resourcefulness and initiative to make decisions and take actions to insure timely and accurate shipping to all customers
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* Must be able to lift documents/work materials up to 50 pounds in weight
* Must be able to operate all powered industrial equipment in the facility (pack mule, center rider, order picker, reach truck, counter balance forklift)


Required Experience:

* Experience with inventory processes: cycle counting, inventory investigations, and complete LTL audit process
* Experience on reach and counter balance forklifts
* WMS software experience
* Knowledge of WMS handheld equipment
