Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for customer applications and samples.
    • Review and coordinate with Sales Department and customers to ensure testing and validation requests are understood and include the required information.
    • Utilize creative thinking to evaluate customer samples in order to provide customers with the most effective and efficient solution for their application.
    • Coordinate, schedule and conduct (as needed) test plans in multiple labs.
  • Lead, participate in or support the following project activities:
    • Prototyping and testing of concept designs and initial engineering builds.
    • Design and product verification, validation, and usability testing.
    • Documentation of testing and validation results for evaluation by a broad audience across departments.
    • Assist in the development of process and procedure documentation for new and existing products.
    • Research new materials and methods of testing and development.
  • Provide application and validation support of customer service efforts to Sales and Service/Repair teams including customer plant visits as needed.
  • Visit on-site with customers to perform technical analysis and qualification of potential customer projects. Discuss the potential sales opportunities with sales team.
  • Liaison between customers and development personnel to drive new feature requests into future product releases.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and upgrades in the Object Treating and Web Labs to maximize efficiency and minimize problems.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Requires at least an Associate's degree in engineering or a related field and two (2) years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is acceptable in lieu of experience.
  • Hands on knowledge of equipment and machinery used for production and general manufacturing, electrical, and mechanical principles.
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite of products.
  • Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD helpful and preferred
  • Ability to operate independently with a small amount of supervision and motivation to meet or exceed deadlines and an adaptability to find solutions to unique projects.
