We are looking for aProduction Technicianto join our team inFranklin, WI.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
  • The successful candidate will be responsible to learn to operate all equipment with an automated product build cell rotating between positions every 2-3 hours.
  • Candidates will operate a forklift as required, assist in line startup and shutdown procedures perform level one PM's while maintaining a high level of safety and quality awareness.
  • Candidate performs work required for the assembly of aquarium tanks at a rate of QTY- 70 units (tanks)/ HR.
  • The position will involve material handling, assembly, cleaning, inspecting, and packaging of product.
  • Must perform all duties in a professional manner and work as a member of a team.
  • May be subject to extended hours (overtime) as required or shift configuration changes based on volume / demand.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures.
  • Ability to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes.
  • Must maintain excellent attendance reliability.
  • Perform Cleaning and Inspection and packaging of product in accordance with BOMs and quality standards.
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment (Startup, verification of processes via HMI, basic troubleshooting, cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, tightening, etc.)
  • Communicate with all operators on the same shift and between shifts to ensure continuous line productivity and effective operations.
  • Lay out materials such as glass racks, frames, silicone drums and operate forklift for line replenishment and take away of finish product.
  • Build / Assembly tanks at a rate of QTY 70 10G tanks / HR or better.
  • Work with systems to record job status, time spent and material tracking.
  • Must identify acceptable quality of finished product. Have a strong commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Use of hand tools
  • Cleaning of work cell.
  • Position requires person to stand, bend and move about the facility and able to lift up to 50lbs. Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
  • Steady work history.
  • Must have a good attendance record and verifiable work references.
  • Other duties as assigned to support all areas of the operation
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to stand/walk for an entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Plant environment with periodic visits to the office area of the plant.
  • Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
