Job Description

Scope of Leadership Role

Regal Rexnord is seeking a multi-plant Site Controller in the Gearing Division within the Industrial Powertrain Solutions Segment, specifically two Engineered Drives & Service businesses with a combined revenue of ~$60M: Renew in Milwaukee, WI (Canal Street) and Nuttall Gear in Niagara Falls, NY. The Site Controller position functions primarily as a business partner to plant and financial management but is also required to be hands-on and highly interactive with operations & commercial leadership with the Regal Rexnord Corporate Finance and external audit firms. The position requires an attitude of and emphasis on providing excellent customer service and expertise to the business. The Renew business specializes in the building and rebuilding of gearboxes, with expertise extending to brands such as Falk, Foote Jones, Rexnord and Browning, while the Nuttall Gear brands and product lines include Nuttall Helical Gear and Delroyd Worm Gear in addition to its service business.

The incumbent will be based at the Milwaukee Canal Street facility with a cadence of regular travel to and onsite presence at Niagara Falls, and will be responsible for oversight, analytics and implementation of all financial and accounting functions for both operations. Directly reporting to this position will be a Cost Accountant, also supporting both locations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform all FP&A reporting to management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (including 3-year Strategy Planning and Budget)

  • Act as a key business partner to the Plant Manager performing ad-hoc tasks to satisfy requests and inform plant and leadership of financial implications of business decisions

  • Oversee 3-Year Strategy Planning process including coordination with Commercial, Engineering, and Operations functions to coordinate presentation to Gearing leadership and long-term financials creation

  • Ownership of Budget process working with plant leadership to set direction and establish financial targets

  • Direct monthly forecasting process with plant

  • Oversee monthly close process

  • Manage and improve InternalControls and Procedures

  • Assist with monthly SIOP process

  • Compliance (GAAP, SOX)

  • Fiduciary profit-and-loss responsibility for approximately $50 Million operation

  • Train non-financial leaders in financial concepts

  • Partner with other functions and serve as lead financial support for plant projects

  • Support and guidance with plant leadership to understand product line profitability

  • This position requires the applicant to be a US Person with a US permanent residence. A US Person is a US Citizen or Green card holder.

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred

  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Multi-Site responsibility and previous leadership experience are big pluses

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
