Controls and Automation Support Tech, Nights

A Day in the Life...

* Provides engineering support to all process areas of the plant facilities.
* Assists in managing the controls and automation interface, testing, quality control, data retrieval, and training for all packaging and processing equipment.
* Provides direct input to managing the controls and automation interface, testing, quality control, data retrieval, and training for all packaging and processing equipment.
* Sustains the effectiveness and maintainability of automation systems.
* Supports and promotes food safety and quality program indicatives within the plant environment.

What We Are Looking For:

* 3+ years of relevant experience
* Ability and skills to troubleshoot and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC-500, MicroLogix and ControlLogix hardware
* Perform Allen-Bradley PLC programming troubleshooting RSLogix5, RSLogix500 and RSLogix5000 software or equivalent and know how to navigate software efficiently.
* Implement and troubleshoot industrial communication networks including Ethernet, Allen-Bradley Remote I/O and DeviceNet communication networks
* Experience with GE Proficy, iFix, SCADA system programming
* Read electrical schematics, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's)
* Perform PID Loop tuning, implement instrument calibration procedures, and electrical troubleshooting.
* General knowledge of the National Electrical Code

Education:

High School Diploma (Required)
