AMSOIL INC., formally known as Benz Oil, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our commitment to excellence and compliance with ISO 9001 standards, while also supporting environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This position reports on-site to the AMSOIL production facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance with ISO 9001 Standards: Collaborate with our Quality Management Team to uphold compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Take the lead in performing internal audits and implementing measures to maintain our high-quality standards.
  • Administer Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Programs: Work closely with our Superior Environmental, Health, and Safety team to administer EHS programs. Together, we'll ensure strict compliance with organizational, regulatory, and labor union requirements/agreements.
  • Facilitate Training and Awareness: Lead training sessions to enhance employee awareness of Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements. Empower our team members to follow necessary procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Play a key role in supporting the continual improvement of our Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at all levels of the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancement and implement best practices.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant course of study
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality and/or environmental, health and safety-focused position
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to do the job
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001
