Position Summary:

The Associate Display Designer collaborates with the Display Desing Manager to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions dimensional temporary and semi-permanent displays using various substrates. You will be responsible for assisting in the design process from conception to execution, ensuring that client expectations are met while adhering to safety standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating, designing, and outputting multi-dimensional POP displays utilizing our SOLIDWORKS and/or ARTIOS CAD system.
  • Generate drawings, die lines, and sample to support design concepts.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Managers across Imagine locations.
  • Work closely with the Creative Design Team to assess feasibility of ideas and ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Support the Estimating & Planning departments in determining production costs.
  • Collaborate with production department managers and employees to ensure quality and timely delivery of client projects.
  • Engage with client in a consultative, ethical, and professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Be prepared to travel locally and nationally as required for client meetings or project installations.
  • Prioritize safety and adhere to established safety policies and procedures, identifying and addressing any unsafe conditions.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for internal and external customers through data collection, standardized procedures, and collaborative teamwork.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of factors critical to quality as determined by the customer, striving, to reduce process variation and enhance capabilities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Not applicable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • Degree in industrial design, packaging, or merchandising, or equivalent practical experience in design within a related field.
  • Familiarity with design software, preferably SOLIDWORKS or ARTIOS CAD.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSTION

  • Experience with projects involving multiple materials such as plastics, paperboard, corrugated materials, motion, and lighting elements.
  • Prior experience with SOLIDWORKS.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey ideas to team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay informed about emerging trends in displays, merchandise, retailer requirements, and promotional packaging.
  • Attention to detail, organization skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn from experienced team members.

The national pay range for this role is $54,100 - $65,300 per year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
