Norton Children's Development Center, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, provides pediatric developmental-behavioral care for children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral conditions.
Norton Children's Development Center provides outpatient and outreach consultations across Kentucky. Services include diagnostic evaluations, medication management, therapy, family support and resources for a wide range of conditions. Staff actively participate in the training of professionals who are involved in the care of children with special health care needs. Clinicians are involved in clinical research, not only in developmental/behavioral pediatrics, but also in collaboration with other allied health professionals. The program maintains national, state and local prominence through its many unique services.
Job Responsibilities: The Clinical Psychologist-NMG works within the respective clinical team to assess and implement treatments in order to provide for the psychological wellbeing of the patients served. The clinical psychologist creates and monitors treatment programs including, but not limited to, therapy and counseling.
