The Packaging Supervisorleads and coordinates the activities of their shift to realize production targets.This includes assisting with all material supply in line with Production/Packaging plan to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations and supporting any other operational areas needs.Located at HARIBO of America's brand new, state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha area, on I-94), the ideal Packaging Supervisor, will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management level position, and at least 1 or more years of experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Responsibilities:

• Lead factory operations to deliver quality product, done correctly, and on-time
• Promote and maintain good employee relations with associates
• Build positive working relationships with teammates, coach, mentor, train, and develop staff
• Collaborate with Technical Support team, Maintenance team, Safety team, Quality-Food Safety team, and other internal departments
• Monitor line performance and ensure output, labor and material standards are achieved meeting HARIBO's high quality standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Prior experience with high-speed packaging equipment in food/pharma manufacturing
• Prior experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment
• TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing experience
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment, industrial maintenance
• Basic Financial understanding to ensure business results are delivered
