Charter Manufacturing's Corporate IT team in Mequon, WI is seeking a Digital Transformation Intern!

This role will be a part of the Digital Transformation department which is tasked with the Industry 4.0 transformation of Charter Manufacturing. The Intern will assist and/or lead multiple Digital Transformation -related projects supporting the different facets of the business.

Internship Program Structure:

  • Duration/Schedule: full-time during the summer months
  • Hybrid flexibility: 1-2 days a week in the office
  • Start Date: May 2024

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IndustrialEngineering, Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enthusiastic for new technology and process improvement.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Assist in other projects and function as a resource for other team members.
  • Document and improve processes.
