Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours/week. 8-hour day shifts scheduled Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

Help perform fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices for patients in our community.

We are seeking an Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician to:

  • Provide support to the orthotist/prosthetist in providing care to patients.
  • Perform ordering and receiving and other inventory tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
  • Perform quarterly maintenance check and documentation of laboratory equipment.
  • Contact vendors to order orthotic and prosthetic fabrication materials and maintain inventory of items used during fabrication process.
  • Assist physical therapy department with serial casting.

Education:

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred -

Work Experience:

Minimum - Two years' experience in orthotics lab, casting room or other relevant experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

Preferred - Registered Orthotic Technician
