Bradley and Watts North America is looking for a Facility Transformation Continuous Improvement Leader to support the One Watts Performance System over Bradley's two manufacturing sites in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Facility Transformation CI Leader will be instrumental using, deploying, and teaching the lean concepts in the OWPS toolkit to help improve Watts performance Improvement.

The leader will ensure the proper use of OWPS - standards, improvements, changes. You will work with site and platform/BU leadership to achieve improvements to business processes and will lead transitions that are linked to Watts strategy and focused on the customer, resulting in balanced scorecard improvements.

Here's how you'll contribute:

  • Deploy the One Watts Performance System - including usage of the materials, coaching of the materials, being a visible practitioner of OWPS.
    Use a hands-on approach; driving change using OWPS on the production floor, physically helping the teams implement lean improvements.
  • Work directly with manufacturing operators to identified and solve issues through VSM, daily management, standard work, 3P/layout, cell design, material flow, TPM, SMED, 5S and visual management.
  • Do, implement lean improvements alongside manufacturing teams as a partner driving lean improvements.
  • Train and Lead kaizen workshops with leaders and associates, including VSM, daily management, standard work, 3P/layout, cell design, material flow, TPM, SMED, 5S and visual management - all part of the OWPS toolkit
  • Use OWPS business assessment tools to identify business opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate and train all personnel on OWPS Production System.

Here's why we want you:

  • Bachelor's degree; technical engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on lean kaizen, including VSM, daily management, standard work, cell design, material flow, TPM, SMED, 3P/layout, 5S and visual management in a manufacturing experience in a machining/assembly environment
  • Lean experience from a company with a formal lean business system
  • Solid lean tool technical skills, project management experience capability
  • Working knowledge of multiple departments, including operations, quality, logistics, finance, sales, customer service, engineering, IT and human resources
  • Proven track record leading and coaching week-long kaizen teams with an emphasis on execution.
