Position Summary
Assist in overseeing the warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely flow of inbound product to the facility. This position requires running the shift in the absence of the Receiving supervisor. Expected to be able to perform all aspects of the job as described below in addition to the duties of all other Warehouse Associate positions.
Areas of Responsibilities
  • Understand all aspects of the warehouse receiving operation and functions of the warehouse receiving associates.
  • Inspect merchandise to ensure only quality product is received and put-away.
  • Meet production, quality, and accuracy levels as established by business unit. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
  • Assist in training and development of Warehouse Receiving Associates.
  • Direct, assign, and monitor work of Warehouse Receiving Associates.
  • Inspect inbound food and/or accessory products.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work extended hours, as required by operational needs.
  • Flexibility to work in other areas and departments, as needed. Must be able to cross train in other departmental areas.
  • Maintain a clean workplace to avoid tripping hazards or other accidents. Follow all food safety policies and procedures including performing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning assignments and related activities as directed.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following facility and company safety guidelines. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with manager and co-workers. Ability to comprehend and carryout instructions.
  • Safely operate and become certified in use of electric pallet jack, walk-rider, and/or other required equipment.
  • Secure the building at the end of the shift.
Education and Experience
  • 1 or more years related warehouse experience, preferred.
  • RF scanner experience, preferred.
  • Previous forklift training, preferred.
  • Ability to count and perform basic math.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds, and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Working Conditions
  • The warehouse is a non-climate-controlled facility. The outside temperature generally reflects the inside temperature with little air circulation. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust.
  • Must be able to wear safety glasses, safety vest and any other personal protective equipment as required for the facility/work area (i.e., gloves, safety shoes).

Work Schedule
Day Shift: Monday thru Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Starting Wages
Day Shift: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
