Do you want to make an impact in healthcare in a role outside of bedside care? This position reports to the Director of Finance with high interaction to the Market CFO, President and Administrative team. You are the key finance partner to the clinical operations and provide a balanced perspective with budgeting, forecasting, and analyses to drive financial stewardship across the campus.
Essential FunctionsPerforms statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Provides guidance on business issues including financial and profitability analysis. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
Serves as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Corewell Health.
Required:
Bachelor's Degree Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
3 years of relevant experience Finance, accounting or related work
Preferred:
Master's Degree Business or finance
Formal or informal leadership experience
1 year of experience with income statements
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - State of Michigan
