Primary Function

The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Transportation Services program for a specified office. They oversee all staff and report to the Program Manager. They ensure contractual requirements and client expectations are met at the site and provide reports as required. They ensure that all staff are trained, following all policies and procedures, and are performing in accordance with their job description.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Responsibilities

  • Supervises CFPCSs and Administrative Assistants.

  • The Site Manager must be able to perform the duties of the CFPCS.

  • Ensures contractual compliance with ICE/ERO policies and procedures.

  • Ensures safeguarding of sensitive information.

  • Monitors, tracks, and ensures site establishes internal, site-specific operation implementation instructions to meet contractual requirements.

  • Provides reporting on employee training, time, and attendance, on the job training, and 1:1 supervision with the Site Supervisor.

  • Conducts daily internal meetings to ensure open communication, dissemination of information, review significant activities, and address any issues or concerns.

  • Conducts ongoing quality assurance to ensure compliance with all ICE/ERO policies and procedures, including identifying areas in need of improvement.

  • Oversees self-audit process for assigned office site.

  • Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage.

  • Enforce all workplace policies and procedures.

  • Provide orientation for new staff members; provide mentorship and guidance to staff on job performance utilizing performance measures and metrics.

  • Supports procurement functions and maintains all aspects of purchasing and delivery of items.

  • Supports Program Manager with identifying staffing and resource requirements.

  • Responsible for routine administrative tasks such as disabling accounts for departed employees.

  • Ensure new employee training and refresher training on all systems.

  • Provide simple technical support questions for their location such as how to use the web-based system.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of experience relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree, or more than four years of related experience may substitute for a degree).

  • Have at least two years or more of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area; and ( a minimum of four years of experience is required when an associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree);

  • Demonstrate management and supervisory experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement and appropriate for a similar program environment.

  • Meet the minimum requirements as established to be able to train and perform the duties of the CFPCS.

  • Shall be accessible to ICE/ERO/JFMTCU by mobile phone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.

  • Clean criminal background check, a favorable credit check, and no prior drug use.

  • Psychological, honesty/integrity validation pre-employment screening and annual re-screening.

  • Must be able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication.

  • Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.

  • Must possess a valid and current U.S. passport.

  • Must possess a valid drivers' license.

  • Must be Bilingual and proficient in English (Speak, Read, Write)

  • Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.

  • Must be able to work full time hours, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years' management experience

  • ORR or ICE experience

  • CPR/First Aid certification

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting to 40+ lbs. as required for UC and FAMU transport.

  • The position will require walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.

  • Must be able to perform contraband search on UC or family members.

  • Must be able to maintain constant visual and sound line of sight of UC and family units.

  • Must be able to load and unload UC or families (including those with special needs or requiring special assistance) into and out of transport vehicles and aircraft.

  • Must be able to load and unload physical property into and out of transport vehicles and aircraft.

  • Must be able to assist with physical perimeter security when requested.

  • Must be able to navigate an airport environment, coordinate with airline customer service if required, and familiar with TSA screening requirements.

  • Must be able to transport individuals with behavioral problems and perform Emergency Behavioral Intervention (EBI).
