Generac is looking for an energetic and hard-working student to join our company as an Intern. Project Coordinator Intern has a primary responsibility to assist in managing and supervising administrative and technical aspects of assigned projects from project start to completion.


Project Coordinator Intern, under the guidance and supervision of Project Manager, will support in activities aimed to complete projects in the defined timeline, facilitate process controls, and support reporting of project status and metrics. Project Coordinator Intern will directly report to the Project Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with departmental standards, procedures and requirements.
  • Review and organize existing processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather information and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to measure and track process performance.
  • Create documentation to visually represent processes.
  • Prepare and present documentation as needed.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and phases to align documentation with project requirements.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
    • The ability to work 15-20 hours during the school year and full-time during school breaks.
  • Work Experience:
    • Demonstrated experience focused on process optimization & improvement, and/or Project Management.
    • Familiarity with process mapping and improvement methodologies and tools.
    • Experience creating job aids and technical documents.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    • Demonstrated experience focused on process optimization & improvement, and/or Project Management.
    • Familiarity with process mapping and improvement methodologies and tools.
    • Experience creating job aids and technical documents.
