What You Will Do:

Exciting opportunity for Co-ops to work on avionics that fly on aircraft of the present and the future! Astronautics Corporation of America (Astronautics), headquartered in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of secure avionics equipment and systems for the commercial and military aerospace industry. Key product areas include electronic primary flight and engine displays, connected aircraft and cyber solutions, electronic flight bags, and certified servers for airborne applications. Services include avionics system integration and custom software for critical applications. Co-op opportunities are available for Spring and Summer 2025. Students will receive hands-on experience in production and process engineering. We offer competitive pay, a friendly team environment, and flexible hours during the work week. This is a first shift, full-time position (M-F). (Students must be able to commit to three co-op terms, which may be completed intermittently).

How You Will Do It:

  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers on projects within the production environment.
  • Create and update work instructions using MS Word and SolidWorks.
  • Design tooling for ease of manufacturing of products.

What We Look For:

Required:

  • Sophomore/Junior/Senior standing majoring in Aerospace, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SolidWorks.
  • Must have excellent communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in electronics assembly or a manufacturing environment.
