ATI is currently looking for a Safety Leader - EHS at our Cudahy, WI location. The Safety Leader reports to EHS Manager. The Safety Leader's primary purpose is to assist in developing and administering the company's environmental, health and safety systems and programs in compliance with ATI, OSHA, ISO and EHS regulations for compliance in an industrial facility.

Essential Duties

  • Drive employee engagement for leading indicators, safety observations, and safety misses
  • Review and make necessary updates to safety training policies, procedures, and manuals
  • Promote and ensure the environmental, health and safety of employees through responsiveness, proactive safety programs, training, incident investigation, root cause analysis, auditing, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop, recommend and implement appropriate and responsive corrective protocols, procedures and measures.
  • Oversee the EHS documentation system in coordination of all ATI Forged Product Facilities.
  • Works with all levels of employees to assure compliance for all employees.
  • Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's level degree in EHS or related area
  • 4+ years of experience in EHS

Preferred qualifications:

  • EHS professional and/or EMT.
  • Knowledge of CI/lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 understanding

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct EHS training
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and employee relations skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Competency in Windows-based software such as Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Applicant must have ability to work individually, as well as in a team setting
  • Applicant shall be detail orientated, organized, and exhibit a strong sense of accountability
  • Act with integrity, display organizational savvy.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others to achieve results.
