The University of Wisconsin-Madison Teacher Education Center seeks an experienced education professional to serve as the Indigenous Education Coordinator for the UW-Madison's School of Education. The Coordinator will: 1) create professional development training and materials for instructors and teacher educators in the School of Education; 2) develop relationships and partnerships with tribal governments and Indigenous communities in Wisconsin; 3) work with leaders, instructors, other stakeholders, and students in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to coordinate the development and implementation of a multi-year strategy for systematically integrating teaching, learning, and curriculum on Native American and Indigenous histories, cultures, treaties, and tribal sovereignty, particularly as related to Wisconsin's Act 31 state statute.
