POSITION

Allspring Global Investments Marketing & Communications Team is seeking a Writer/Copywriter to be a member of our Investment Content Marketing Team, focusing on content for the wealth management channel, as well as collaborating with the broader Marketing, Investment and Distribution teams to develop unique and insightful thought leadership for the firm. This role will specialize in creating compelling client-facing content that will showcase Allspring's insights, investment capabilities, serve as educational resources and continue to establish Allspring's brand as a leader within its industry. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to exhibit storytelling skills while applying your knowledge of investments in order to create content that will generate new opportunities for Allspring.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ideate and draft new content as assigned, including but not limited to macro, asset class and thematic thought leadership, primers, podcast scripts, videos, commentaries, brochures, etc.
  • Develop content focused on the wealth management channel, geared toward Financial Advisors and their end-clients
  • Partner with members of the Investments and Distribution teams on content development
  • Present new ideas to enhance team's content, processes, strategy and output
  • Work with Content Coordinator to ensure deadlines are met and content is delivered in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance team to ensure content adheres to best practices and guidelines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-7 years of investment writing experience, ideally within asset management or a financial news agency
  • Strong writing, editorial and copyediting skills
  • Demonstrate understanding of capital markets, macroeconomics, investment asset classes, themes and processes
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, stakeholder management and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail, strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Ownership over work while contributing as a strong team player
  • Ability to work independently as well as in groups
  • Personal interest in investments and financial markets
