The electrical engineer rotates through various disciplines alternating between in-house engineering projects and short duration field engineering/maintenance and service projects with up to 50% travel. 

Electrical Engineers will train and work on projects such as but not limited to:
  • PLC Programming
  • Debug of Systems
  • Field Service Repair - Industrial Electrical and mechanical inclined equipment,  Water Systems, Material handling equipment and Preventative maintenance.
  • Control System Architecture/Concept Design
  • I/O design and Electrical Wiring Design
  • Electrical Cabinet and Systems Layout
  • Project Management
  • Printed Circuit Board Design
  • Transformer Design
  • Load computation
  • Modeling and Simulation of Electric Power Circuits
  • C Programming
  • Embedded Systems
  • Characterization of Systems Specifications
  • In-house Product Test
  • In-house Repair of customer goods

 Qualifications:
 
  • BSEE or Associate Degree with equivalent experience required
  • Familiarity with working on high voltage and high power circuits a plus
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Must Know how to use Oscilloscope, Meters, High Voltage Tester.
  • Must have good technical writing and oral communication skills.
  • Must love to travel, up to 50% 
  • Electromechanical Knowledge and Induction or heat treating experience a big plus
  • Knowledge of and experience with PLC's and troubleshooting a plus
  • Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting Motor controls and Drives a plus
  • Knowledge of and experience with PC troubleshooting a plus
