Description

The Regional Distribution and Manufacturing Manager will take action under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Operations.

He or she will work collaboratively with members of IEWC's Management Team and, specifically, with any other Regional Distribution and Manufacturing Manager, Sales Center Managers, Business Unit Leaders, and Division Leaders within their designated Region.

He or she will provide direct supervision to his or her Distribution Center staff including DC Supervisors, warehouse personnel, and the DC Managers within their specific region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Management
  • Collaborating with other Regional DC Managers and DC Managers to provide direction for the activities of supervised functions; establish responsibilities and time frames to help fulfill the annual Operating Plan
  • Participate in the ongoing development of the Company's Operating Plan, particularly as it relates to Distribution Operations matters
  • Participate in or lead cross functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going and cost effective improvement of customer satisfaction, processes, methods, productivity and quality
  • Analyze cost savings or cost reduction opportunities and implement, as appropriate
  • Exercise sound business judgment in carrying out expenditures, which are authorized by the Financial Plan; collaborating with US Director of Global Distribution Operations
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, records and documentation of all DC's within their respective region Managerial Activities
  • Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments, and motivate the Distribution Center staff (including DCSM, DCS, and warehouse personnel) to ensure the best possible service to the
  • Monitor the work of Distribution center Managers within their region and Distribution Center employees in their specific facility to ensure the accuracy of the work and timeliness of
  • Communicate information with Distribution Center Managers and Distribution Center staff weekly
  • Act as a technical resource to sales and other personnel to address and resolve inquiries and
  • As needed, perform all Distribution Center functions, including all receiving, stocking, pulling, servicing, packaging and shipping
Supplies, Equipment and Plant
  • Ensure that adequate supplies, materials and parts are on hand to keep the Distribution Centers operating
  • Ensure the performance of minor maintenance and repairs on Distribution Center equipment and
  • As delegated, ensure the performance of minor maintenance and repairs on the building (office and warehouse) and grounds of the Regional
  • Notify the US Director of Global Distribution Operations of major problems with regard to equipment, machinery, buildings and
  • Re-calibrate Distribution Center equipment, as
Quality Assurance
  • Maintain compliance with our Quality Management Systems
  • Understand and ensure Company compliance with UL and C S A product
Customer Service
  • Work with all Company departments to ensure customer satisfaction and new opportunities for business and product
Safety
  • Maintain a safe and secure work
  • Ensure safety policies are properly applied and
Human Resources
  • Establish an environment where all Distribution Center employees are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, where they feel empowered to perform and grow, and where they are motivated to work as a team to help fulfill the Distribution Center's and the Company's Operating
  • In consultation with US Director of Global Distribution Operations, provide human resource management, including the establishment of job descriptions, hiring, training and development, goal setting and evaluation, compensation and rewards, promotions, discipline and termination of all Distribution Center
  • In consultation with the US Director of Global Distribution Operations, resolve conflicts and address complaints that arise among Distribution Center
  • Ensure the creation and completion of direct reports EPP, this includes DC Managers, Supervisors, Leads, Trainers, and potentially DC
